How does your organization’s mission relate to the volunteer work you've done with Chicago Parks Foundation?
Sustainability is a core value at VelocityEHS and an important part of the work we do. Through our Sustainability solution, we help organizations better understand their environmental impact, manage greenhouse gas and energy data, and turn that information into meaningful action.
Volunteering with the Chicago Parks Foundation gave our team an opportunity to bring that mission to life locally by working together to care for a public green space in the community where many of us live and work. It was a great reminder that building a more sustainable future requires both big-picture solutions and hands-on action.
Highlights from the day:
A highlight for me was getting outside and moving during the workday while making a tangible impact alongside my team. The Chicago Parks Foundation team made the work approachable and easy for everyone to participate in, which allowed us to jump right in and make the most of our time together.

VelocityEHS provides software that helps organizations create safer and more sustainable workplaces. We’re proud to have a strong team in Chicago and value opportunities to give back to the community where many of our employees live and work.
Partnering with the Chicago Parks Foundation was a natural fit, and we look forward to finding more ways to support our local community.
