Look Who’s Pitching In: Zeno Group!

In our LOOK WHO’S PITCHING IN story series, the Chicago Parks Foundation will introduce you to the volunteers who are making the 2021 season of Pitch In for the Parks + Green Teams citywide park clean-ups possible. First up, Zeno Group Chicago!

ZENO GROUP CHICAGO joined us for a Green Teams clean-up on June 4th at Humboldt Park.

Who is Zeno Group?

Zeno Group is a global integrated communications agency operating across North America, Europe and Asia – with it’s largest office being here in Chicago. Our agency offers a mix of public relations, digital / consumer marketing, corporate reputation and communications services for brands like Coca Cola, Pizza Hut, Hyatt, Goodyear, Carhartt and more.

How did your organization hear about CPF and the Green Team program?

We were planning our company’s annual day of service called Zeno Gives Back and funny enough – I remembered a “fun fact” we had in our monthly newsletter that mentioned Chicago has over 600 parks. I thought what better thing to do than clean up the parks, so I went online and found out about Chicago Parks Foundation and their Green Teams program!

Why is volunteering for the parks important to your organization?

We’re all proud Chicagoans at Zeno Group and believe one thing that differentiates our city from others is our beautiful parks – which Chicago Parks Foundation wonderfully keeps clean for us! Our company overall has been committed to getting more involved in our communities (i.e. through Zeno Gives Back) so opportunities to support our parks was a natural fit.

How does your organization’s mission relate to the work you’re doing with CPF?

Our company values center around being Collaborative, Human, Committed and True to Our Word. We believe that – in our work and in our communities –we are better together. Those same values apply to our work with CPF as we can only make our parks better “together.”

Thank you for pitching in, Zeno Group!

YOU CAN PITCH IN, TOO!

Help us cover as much park ground as possible this season. The Chicago Parks Foundation’s citywide Pitch In for the Parks volunteer effort equips volunteer with the supplies and support you need to make an impact across our city’s 600+ parks!

Anyone can host a Pitch In clean-up group (free supplies delivered to you) or join a free volunteer event on our calendar. Or schedule a personalized volunteer event for your coworkers with our Green Teams corporate clean-up program. Both programs run June through October 2021.

You can also join us with a gift or become a Chicago Parks Foundation Member! Your support helps make vital park programming like Pitch In for the Parks possible. When you invest in the parks, you invest in the communities who love and depend on them!
