Chicago Parks Foundation is the private organization that helps our public parks thrive.
In 2013, we launched the Chicago Parks Foundation to put our beloved parks on the map of Chicago’s charitable landscape.
Tax dollars alone cannot meet the needs of our city’s 600+ parks. The Foundation supports and expands the important work of the Chicago Park District, bringing together civic pride and private generosity.
Parks are good for us. Getting outside into green nature makes us happier, healthier and more connected - especially in the city. And when you give a little green, you are helping ensure the future of Chicago parks for all the communities who depend on them.
