The Chicago Parks Foundation supports the movement of ‘parks as good medicine.’
Get outside with us and join our seasonal Wellness Walks. They’re good for you and good for our parks!
Medical professionals lead 45-min park walks and informal discussions on health-related topics like sleep, nutrition, and exercise. CPF is proud to partner with students and healthcare providers from local medical institutions to lead our walking program.
Wellness Walks are a free, low-pressure way to get some movement, connect with fellow community members, learn about your own health, and enjoy your beautiful parks!

Wellness Walk leaders do not provide medical advice. Conversation is meant to be casual and general.
Children under 18 must be accompanied by parent/guardian. Jackson Park is the best option for families with children because these walks are led by La Rabida pediatricians, but all are welcome at all walk locations!
All walks take place rain or shine unless participants are otherwise notified.
Please BYO water and dress appropriately for outdoors walking (closed-toe shoes, sun protection, weather appropriate clothing, etc.).
