AWARD GUIDELINES
The Chicago Parks Foundation's Annual Connecting Communities Award is designed to elevate your park and foster a lasting connection between your park and your community.
This award of $1,000 will be presented to one Park Advisory Council (PAC) from each region (North, Central, South) to support a community event, project, or program within a park. To qualify, Park Advisory Councils must be in good standing with the Chicago Park District.

Connecting Communities Celebration

South Shore Cultural Center
Join us for a night of celebration! Following the announcement of this year's recipients, the CPF will welcome a special guest speaker from the Obama Presidential Center, and we'll finish the event with a reception with appetizers and drinks.
This is a great opportunity to network with fellow PACs and celebrate all of your incredible work.
Thank you to everyone who applied for the 2024 Connecting Communities Award. We appreciate your time and look forward to sharing the recipients' exciting projects and programs with everyone when they are announced.
This event is open to all PACs - Whether or not you applied for the award, we'd love for you to join us! Please no more than 4 members (board or otherwise) from your PAC may attend. This event is free but we ask that you please register in advance by 4/21.
