The Chicago Parks Foundation welcomes you to the very first edition of Between the Leaves Magazine, dedicated to Chicago’s incredible parks and the people who love them.
Our parks are an essential part of our city’s physical landscape. And in 2013, the Chicago Parks Foundation (CPF) was established to ensure that they are just as essential to Chicago’s charitable landscape.
This year marks the CPF’s tenth anniversary as your 501c3 nonprofit park partner. In the last decade of our work, we’ve experienced that it’s the people who make the parks. Now, we want to bring those stories to you – what happens between the leaves.
This first edition is just the beginning. At the CPF, we encourage park users and lovers to become park givers and stewards. We look forward to hearing from our readers to continue telling our park stories together.
